Ming Garden Hong Kong

Yum Cha in Jordan. Tea and sweet things. At Ground Floor, Ritz Plaza, 122 Austin Road, Tsim Sha Tsui

Pleasant decor and really cold airconditioning. 愉快的装饰和真冷空调 Sets the standard for eating in the humid summer heat in HK.

Chinese tea cups with a handle. 中国茶杯把手 (Zhōngguó chábēi bǎshǒu) How quaint. Not something we often see in a Yum Cha restaurant. Traditionally most chinese tea cups are without handles.

Rice flour rolls served in elongated plates. We think these rolls are harder to make as the surface area is markedly increased.

There were a variety of deep fried dough. Some which had to be coated in honey before eating. Novel and unique. There were also giant fried wantons.

Generally, the food came out piping hot and fresh. The pastry may have been a little thick for Hong Kongers but for expats and tourist like us it was ok.

This is a nice restaurant for Yum Cha in busy and bustling Tsim Sha Tsui. About 100 meters walk from the nearest train station entrance on Jordan.
