We had hot tea cooled by throwing tea between two mug. The vernacular being 'teh tarik' or pulling tea between two mugs to cool and create a head of froth on the tea.
Red bean soup or kacang merah. With hint of tangy orange skin.
Shaved ice with peanuts and brown sugar or "ice kacang" was yummy with lots of sugar and sweet condiments.
Chendol or green jelly with shaved ice and green jelly.
The range of food at nyonya colours. We enjoyed the light afternoon tea. Very crowded. Have to find own seat.
